Bannatyne’s Charlton House Hotel

Greenman’s landscaping team worked with local architects and local authority planning officers to design and installed a new car park using gabion baskets , geo tech matting and a Cotswold stone finish to comply with local planning restrictions.

Greenman have been carrying out the grounds maintenance at Bannatyne’s Charlton House Hotel for 6 years, in 2016 we were commissioned to work with local architects and local authority planning officers to design and installed a new car park using gabion baskets , geo tech matting and a Cotswold stone finish to comply with local planning restrictions, because of the historic nature of the hotel the gabions were filled with a particular stone sourced from York, which were laid manually to give to right visual effect.

The design and installation was specific and unique to accommodate its position next to a flood plain and to comply with the Environment Agency’s requirements.

The whole project was designed to enhance the historic hotel buildings and the 200 year old gardens which surround the buildings.
